Breed Drama, Post 1.

Today I was sent clips of mating dogs in real time, so that I could coach the owner of a stud dog as she tried to handle a mating with an outside female. I just could hardly keep myself from choking with laughter. The female is known to be difficult to breed, and she was definitely “two-stepping” at the last moment to keep the tie from happening. We were thinking of every possible creative solution to stir up some more interest between the two. I mentioned that she may not be ovulating yet and to keep trying, but both of us were laughing. After watching 5 clips of the rear ends of two very determined CMDs, out comes the mirth. My husband was hearing from the other room and laughing as well. Biology can be humorous.
